Messenger Bags,Ponchos, and Capes.

At our website http://www.bag-a-poncho.co.za you can see Messenger Bags, Ponchos and Capes that we sew (Yes, Johan is helping me with the sewing).

At first we start making the whole Messenger Bag out of Coffee Sack, but now it is denim for the "body" of the bag and (recycled) coffee sack for the flap of the bag.

Easter Market.

It is time for the Easter Market again and I am busy working on some things for the market.

As usual the market is on the Saturday of the Easter weekend on the square or plein in Clarens.

I will be there with my jewelry and other handmade things. My wife will also be there with her Ponchos and Bags.

Sir Theodore Bearheart The Brave.

When I was in hospital about two years ago Johan bought me a little teddy bear. Johan decided a few months ago that he wanted to make some Chain Maille clothes for the little bear. First the bear got a name Sir Theodore Bearheart The Brave. Then he got some clothes and also a shield., a sword and an axe.

A friend bought Sir Theodore and he is now living in Switzerland. The friend took the shield and painted it beautiful.

I think Sir Theodore looks great!!!!!!!

Visual Arts Festival.

The 7th to the 9th it was the Visual Arts Festival in Clarens, South Africa. It was a lovely weekend although business wasn't as good as Johan hoped. Here are some photos of his table with jewelry.
